Office Management Assistant

TBG | The Bachrach Group is a top law firm based in Mineola, seeking a highly skilled Office Assistant/Receptionist to join our team. This is a temp to perm position, offering up to $21 per hour and opportunities for growth and development.
We are looking for an experienced Receptionist who is highly organized and able to multitask effectively. The ideal candidate will have 2+ years of experience in a similar role, with a strong background in customer service and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and colleagues.
The responsibilities of this role include:
- Answering incoming calls and directing them to the appropriate employee or attorney
- Collecting client information to brief employees or attorneys before transferring calls
- Retrieving files for attorneys as needed
- Scanning and uploading documents into our filing system
- Assisting with large-scale mailings when required
- Logging and stamping all incoming mail
- Ordering office supplies as necessary
- Scheduling FedEx pickups for employees when needed
- Entering and uploading data into online systems
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Friendly and professional phone demeanor for interacting with clients
- Strong customer service skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Highly organized and able to multitask effectively
- Preferred experience in a legal environment, but not required
