Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage with customers to sell pre-owned vehicles while ensuring optimal levels of profitability, sales volume, and customer satisfaction.
  • Welcome and assist customers entering the dealership, providing guidance and support throughout their vehicle selection process.
  • Conduct thorough product presentations and demonstrations to potential buyers.
  • Facilitate test drives, ensuring compliance with dealership protocols for customer identification.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to customer satisfaction and follow up on all inquiries.
  • Utilize the dealership's sales tracking and follow-up systems effectively.
  • Stay informed about the laws and regulations governing automotive sales.
  • Set personal income objectives aligned with dealership productivity standards and develop strategies to achieve them.
  • Understand vehicle equity and values, and explain depreciation concepts to customers.
  • Ensure that every customer has the opportunity to meet with the sales manager.
  • Process all closed deals accurately and efficiently, submitting necessary documentation to the finance and insurance manager.
  • Prepare sold vehicles for delivery, ensuring they are clean and fully operational.
  • Deliver vehicles to customers, providing clear explanations of features, warranties, and paperwork.
  • Introduce customers to service department staff to highlight the quality of our service offerings.
  • Schedule the first service appointment for new vehicle owners.
  • Follow up on all post-delivery items to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain a system for owner follow-up to encourage repeat business and referrals.
  • Collaborate with the service department to ensure timely vehicle reconditioning.
  • Participate in sales meetings and contribute to team discussions.
  • Assist with the inspection process for used vehicles.
  • Complete sales orders and manage paperwork in accordance with dealership policies.
  • Review performance regularly to identify areas for improvement and enhance time management.
  • Perform additional tasks as assigned.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to drive a manual transmission vehicle is preferred.
  • Capability to stand and walk for extended periods.
  • Familiarity with automotive terminology and a commitment to staying updated on product advancements.
