Job Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of the Georgia Primary Care Association. This role requires a seasoned executive with a strong background in healthcare leadership, business acumen, and community engagement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership and direction to the organization, aligning with the association's mission and values.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals, including resource allocation and priority setting.
  • Lead and motivate the senior executive team to drive operational excellence and financial performance.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, community organizations, and government agencies.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices.
  • Administer all corporate operations, including human resources, finance, and administrative functions.
  • Ensure the fiscal solvency of the organization through effective budgeting, financial planning, and resource management.
  • Lead quality assurance initiatives to ensure the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
  • Develop and manage grant applications and funding proposals to support organizational initiatives.
  • Recruit, retain, and develop high-performing staff to drive organizational success.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Public Administration, Public Health, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive management and leadership experience in a nonprofit community setting, preferably in the healthcare industry.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • American citizenship required.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of the principles and practice of not-for-profit community-based social services and healthcare organizations.
  • Experience with state and federal laws, regulations, and policies related to healthcare and social services.
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills, including excellent verbal and writing skills.
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems, budgets, and financial data operations.
Working Conditions

This is a full-time position, requiring a minimum of 40 hours per week. Occasional travel may be required.
