Job Summary

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is a senior leadership position responsible for overseeing the strategic direction and operational management of the Georgia Primary Care Association. This role requires a seasoned executive with a strong background in healthcare leadership, strategic planning, and team management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide visionary leadership and direction to the organization, aligning with the association's mission and values.
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
  • Lead and manage a team of senior executives, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Oversee the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare providers, payers, and government agencies.
  • Ensure the financial stability and sustainability of the organization, including budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation.
  • Represent the association in various forums and meetings, promoting its interests and advocating for healthcare policy changes.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5-10 years of progressive management and leadership experience in a healthcare setting.
  • Strong knowledge of healthcare regulations, policies, and laws, including HHS/HRSA-BPHC regulations.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Public Health, or a related field.
  • Experience working in a non-profit or community-based organization.
  • Knowledge of state and federal laws related to government benefits and assistance programs.
  • Experience with computerized accounting systems, budgets, and financial data operations.
