Job Title: Business Developer

At Croft Production Systems, Inc., we are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Business Developer to join our team. As a Business Developer, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining profitable relationships with customers and partners, as well as actively prospecting for new accounts and maximizing sales potential with existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify potential clients in the target market and conduct thorough research on their business and equipment needs.
  • Build long-term relationships with key clients and create sales plans to generate revenue.
  • Analyze win/loss analysis and advise clients on creating profitable processes.
  • Schedule regular meetings with customers to ensure their satisfaction and help the sales team up-sell or cross-sell services and products.
  • Ensure both the company and clients adhere to contract terms and study competition to find new ways to retain customers.
  • Set sales and revenue targets and work diligently to meet them, collaborating with internal teams to address customers' needs.
  • Work in negotiations and contracts with vendors, partners, and clients, conducting sales follow-up activities and maintaining customer relationships.
  • Assist in developing annual individual/organizational strategic marketing plan in coordination with the CEO and update marketing mediums such as LinkedIn, website, online articles, marketing videos, etc.
  • Conduct marketing campaigns such as expos and ensure existing business segment growth and service maintaining the targeted retention rate and sales goals.
  • Ensure full compliance with company policy and/or all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations as related to job function.
Requirements:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, and other job-related software/e-technology/cloud-based solutions, and CRM platforms (e.g. Salesforce).
  • Strong knowledge of principles and processes for marketing, sales, and business relationship management.
  • Ability to effectively communicate, negotiate, and ensure business outcomes, responding to questions in a professional and knowledgeable manner.
  • Multi-tasking and remaining detailed and organized, maintaining confidentiality at all times.
  • Consistently demonstrating strong problem-solving skills and a creative approach for generating new ideas with the principles of continuous improvement.
  • Ability to follow specific instructions and adhere to safety guidelines.
  • Proven track record of meeting and exceeding targets, with a background in customer service and industry knowledge a plus.
  • Experience tracking relevant KPIs (e.g. customer satisfaction) and a customer-oriented attitude.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, problem-solving aptitude, and ability to work well with a team.

Work Environment:

The work is primarily performed in an office setting with moderate noise level. This job occasionally requires the employee to be outside and in production areas; stand; walk; sit; use hands; climb stairs; reach over head balance; stoop; kneel; read; talk or hear. The employee must lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities include close vision and the ability to adjust focus.
