GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE:
The Senior Procurement Executive at Tremco Incorporated will play a pivotal role in advancing various procurement initiatives across the organization. This position is essential for fostering and maintaining relationships with Cooperative entities, as well as exploring new strategic cooperative opportunities.

The Senior Executive will be instrumental in managing bid processes for both new and existing RFPs/IFBs, which includes the preparation and refinement of bid specifications as necessary. Additionally, this role will leverage analytics to assess the return on investment for ongoing projects and identify further opportunities for enhancement.

The Senior Procurement Executive will also contribute to the pricing strategy for Public Market items and oversee GPO discount and rebate programs.

This position will serve as a resource for the internal estimating team regarding compliance inquiries related to line item proposals, while also assisting the Sales team with procurement-related inquiries for both prospective and ongoing cooperative and GPO engagements.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Below are the primary functions and responsibilities associated with this role:

- Develop a comprehensive understanding of labor-based cooperative and GPO purchasing contracts.

- Aid in the formulation and creation of strategic implementation documents.

- Assist in constructing departmental budgets and monitor them throughout the fiscal year.

- Engage in procurement strategy discussions, review necessary updates, and communicate effectively across departments.

- Collaborate with Cooperative contract holders to educate their leadership and members on contract validity and usage for current and future projects.

- Review public procurement regulations concerning cooperative purchasing and labor-based facility solutions.

- Support legislative initiatives by working together on strategies and objectives that will positively influence procurement practices for the company in both the short and long term.

- Keep abreast of trends and regulations that impact purchasing decisions.

- Work alongside Sales representatives to address potential challenges and provide support to both sales and customers directly.

- Respond to internal inquiries from the Estimating and Construction Management teams regarding compliance with existing agreements.

- Assist in developing pricing strategies for procurement contracts.

- Foster relationships with organizations, associations, other facility vendors, and trade groups.

- Monitor key analytics to evaluate the success of initiatives and utilize data to formulate new strategies.

- Identify opportunities to enhance profitability through procurement mechanisms.

- Attend significant trade shows to promote and enhance the company’s procurement initiatives.



QUALIFICATIONS:
Applicants should possess a minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement-related roles, with a background in construction considered advantageous. The ideal candidate will be an energetic and enthusiastic professional who thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Key qualifications include:

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Adaptability and willingness to learn new processes or systems.

- Strong business math skills, including the ability to calculate discounts, percentages, and commissions, along with negotiation skills.
