Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales and Business Development Specialist to join our team. As a Sales and Business Development Specialist, you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our customer base in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities- Sales and Business Development: Achieve or exceed assigned sales goals and expectations by developing and managing key accounts, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with customers.
- Account Management: Manage assigned accounts to establish business development opportunities through account penetration, analysis, partnership with key decision makers, and strategic initiatives.
- Product Knowledge: Develop and maintain extensive product knowledge in all product lines and service offerings to effectively communicate with customers and identify sales opportunities.
- Communication and Presentation: Develop and deliver high-quality presentations, product prospectus, and business correspondence to support the overall sales process.
- Team Collaboration: Collaborate with senior staff to coordinate and execute product knowledge training sessions with internal and external customers, as appropriate.
- Technology and Tools: Leverage all available technology on a daily basis for productivity and effective lead generation, account maintenance, sales and expense tracking, forecasting, account reviews, customer contact, presentations, etc.
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Sales, Construction Management, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Two to four years of related experience and/or training in sales, business development, or construction industry.
- Skills and Abilities: Ability to travel extensively within assigned territory, well-organized, self-motivated, with outstanding written and verbal communication skills, proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), or other CRM software experience preferred.
The salary range for applicants in this position generally starts at $85,000 and goes up based on experience. The Company offers a variety of benefits to its employees, including but not limited to health (medical, dental, vision) insurance, paid holidays, paid time off, 401(k) with company match, Company Pension Plan, Performance Based Bonus/Commission, and continuing education.
