Position Overview:
As a Customs Compliance Specialist, you will be tasked with managing the necessary documentation for the entry of goods into the United States on behalf of importers. Your role is crucial in ensuring that all customs regulations are adhered to, facilitating smooth operations within the logistics framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver exceptional customer service while processing import documentation.
  • Accurately classify goods for customs clearance using various resources.
  • Perform data entry and manage import-related documentation for submission to U.S. Customs.
  • Maintain and update all shipment records in compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure adherence to international importing regulations and organizational policies.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide a high level of service to clients.
  • Process agency brokerage shipments efficiently.
  • Engage with government and organizational policies to ensure compliance.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • No prior industry experience is necessary.
  • Data entry and keyboard proficiency are essential.
  • Familiarity with MS Office, Outlook, and standard office equipment is required.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to manage a high volume of work and handle time-sensitive tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Capable of utilizing multiple systems and reference materials.
  • Interact effectively with internal staff and management at all levels.
Training and Development:
