Key Responsibilities:

  • Regulatory Oversight:
  • Continuously monitor and interpret applicable apprenticeship regulations to ensure program compliance with legal requirements.
  • Stay informed about updates in IRA apprenticeship laws and integrate necessary changes into the program.
  • Compliance Development:
  • Create and enforce compliance protocols and policies to minimize risks and uphold high standards within the apprenticeship initiative.
  • Identify opportunities for enhancement and implement corrective measures to address compliance deficiencies.
  • Documentation Management:
  • Maintain thorough and accurate records of apprenticeship agreements, progress documentation, and all compliance-related files.
  • Ensure that records are current and easily accessible for audits and inspections.
  • Reporting Duties:
  • Compile and submit comprehensive reports on program compliance to regulatory entities, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure timely preparation and distribution of certified payroll reports to clients.
  • Audit and Evaluation:
  • Conduct regular assessments of apprenticeship programs to evaluate compliance with legal standards and internal policies.
  • Implement corrective actions based on audit results to foster continuous improvement.
  • Stakeholder Engagement:
  • Act as the main point of contact for apprentices and stakeholders regarding compliance matters and program requirements.
  • Provide assistance and support to ensure stakeholders are informed and compliant with program standards.
  • Training Support:
  • Assist in the execution and follow-up of apprenticeship training plans and evaluations to ensure effective program delivery.
  • Collaborate with training teams to align program goals with regulatory expectations.
  • Payroll Compliance:
  • Prepare and submit certified payroll documentation to clients.
  • Ensure that all payroll practices adhere to relevant regulations and organizational policies.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience in compliance management, ideally within apprenticeship programs or similar environments.
  • Familiarity with certified payroll processes and reporting is highly advantageous.
  • Strong grasp of apprenticeship regulations and compliance requirements, or a readiness to learn.
  • Detail-oriented with the capability to maintain precise records and ensure thorough compliance.
  • Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging with diverse stakeholders and providing clear guidance.
