Position Overview

As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in managing the flow of goods within our warehouse environment. Your responsibilities will include utilizing material handling equipment to efficiently load and unload shipments while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and execute computerized work orders to ascertain the required quantities and types of products for dispatch.
  • Locate requested items within the warehouse efficiently.
  • Inspect pallets for quality and prepare items for distribution.
  • Document any damages and communicate findings to supervisors.
  • Package, seal, and label products for shipment, utilizing Radio Frequency (RF) scanning technology to ensure accurate inventory counts.
  • Notify supervisors of any product or material discrepancies and follow their guidance to resolve issues.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized workspace at the conclusion of each shift.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Operate various machinery and material handling equipment as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to identify products through reading and interpreting pallet identification numbers.
  • Proficient in understanding instructions in the official language of the country or as specified by Lineage Logistics.
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs., with variations based on facility requirements.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends if necessary.
  • Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with varying noise levels.
