Position Overview

As a Logistics Operations Specialist, you will play a crucial role in the efficient handling of goods within our warehouse environment. Your primary responsibilities will include utilizing material handling equipment to ensure the smooth flow of products, while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Interpret and execute computerized work orders to identify the quantities and types of products designated for shipment.
  • Locate requested items within the warehouse and prepare them for dispatch.
  • Inspect pallets and products for any damages or imperfections before processing.
  • Document any discrepancies or damages and report them to supervisory staff.
  • Prepare materials for shipping by packing, sealing, and labeling, using Radio Frequency (RF) scanning technology to verify item counts.
  • Communicate any product or material issues to the appropriate leadership and follow their guidance to resolve the situation.
  • Assist in maintaining a clean and organized warehouse at the conclusion of your shift.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Operate various machinery and material handling equipment as required.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Ability to identify products through reading and interpreting pallet identification numbers.
  • Proficiency in understanding instructions in the official language of the country or as specified by Lineage Logistics.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Capability to lift a minimum of 40 lbs, with weight requirements varying by facility.
  • Flexibility to work varied schedules, including weekends when necessary.
  • Comfortable working in environments with varying noise levels.
