Our Technical Products Division is recognized as a leading supplier of magnetic shielding, while our Custom Fabrication Division is celebrated for its unique designs in both residential and commercial spaces.

We are currently seeking a dedicated Packer to enhance our dynamic and skilled workforce. The primary responsibility of this role is to ensure the effective packaging and dispatch of products to external clients and vendors, along with maintaining precise documentation associated with these processes. This position operates on a four-day work schedule, from Tuesday to Friday, with hours from 6:30 AM to 5:00 PM.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Package products according to established guidelines and best practices for shipping.
  • Transport materials from the manufacturing area to the shipping section as necessary.
  • Record time spent on shipping operations in the Epicor system.
  • Verify the accuracy and readiness of outbound shipments for customer delivery.
  • Alert supervisors regarding potential shortages of packaging supplies.
  • Utilize customer portals and shipping methods as directed by the Shipping & Logistics Coordinator.
  • Report any damaged packaging, whether caused internally or received from suppliers, to management and take appropriate actions.
  • Ensure that damaged products are not packaged for shipment.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of two years of experience in a relevant position (e.g., Mover, Packer, Logistics Coordinator, Stocker).
  • Forklift certification is mandatory for this role.
  • Demonstrated ability to excel in a fast-paced environment and contribute to process enhancements.
  • Capability to lift weights ranging from 40 to 50 lbs.
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage and keyboarding.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy.
