POSITION SUMMARY

This role requires a professional individual with a strong drive, determination, and self-motivation to meet the demands of our Programs operations. Your primary goal will be to lead the team responsible for servicing existing accounts while identifying opportunities for business growth.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide personalized training to new or current team members
  • Serve as an authority on our insurance policies and daily service protocols
  • Oversee departmental projects, including task delegation, escalation management, financial reporting, and promoting growth
  • Manage our largest Professional Liability accounts with assistance from the Professional Liability Steward team
  • Identify areas for enhancement and develop innovative solutions
  • Represent the Professional Liability team as a product specialist at in-person events
  • Address call and claim escalations promptly to ensure favorable outcomes
  • Assist in processing backdated approval requests from our team to the insurance provider
  • Deliver professional and courteous service to clients, carrier representatives, underwriters, business partners, and colleagues
  • Process quotations and binders as required
  • Take charge of issuing new business policies, endorsements, reinstatements, and initial claims reports
  • Investigate and process refunds for overpayments
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive files and input critical data into the company's agency management system
  • Handle account rounding and new business development as appropriate, adhering to standard practices and procedures
  • Act as a liaison between clients and insurance carriers to gather underwriting information upon request
  • Fulfill daily job responsibilities, including responding to voicemails, emails, and client inquiries in a timely manner
  • Comply with service standards outlined in the procedure manual
  • Uphold confidentiality requirements related to insurance coverage

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School diploma or equivalent; AA and/or college degree preferred
  • Possess an Illinois producer license suitable for the position or obtain one within 60 days and meet bonding requirements
  • Exceptional customer service and problem-solving skills
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication abilities
  • Proficient in utilizing computer systems, including Microsoft Office and automated agency management systems
  • Able to thrive in a positive team environment
  • Available to work a regular full-time schedule with potential for overtime as needed

Required Experience: 5-7 years of relevant experience
Required Travel: Up to 25%
Required Education: Bachelor's degree (4-year degree)
