Our client is a distinguished independent investment advisory firm located in downtown Chicago, managing over $15 billion in assets for around 90 esteemed clients. They focus on investment reporting, management, and advisory services for a wide array of clients, including foundations, endowments, pensions, family offices, and financial intermediaries.
Role Overview:
As a Client Operations Specialist, you will be instrumental in ensuring clients receive top-tier service. This hybrid role involves working alongside the investment and technology teams to manage and oversee each client's tailored investment program. Your main duties will encompass meeting preparation, document facilitation, and coordination with various stakeholders, including clients, banks, custodians, and asset management firms. You will also collaborate closely with tax, legal, and internal technology professionals to support clients effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage client service tasks, including cash raises, cash transfers, bill payments, custodian alerts, managing capital calls/RMDs, account openings/closings, and manager hires/terminations.
- Assist in organizing client meeting logistics, including scheduling, managing report delivery protocols, and coordinating project deliverables.
- Serve as the primary contact for daily client interactions and provide prompt responses to service requests.
- Support the coordination, delivery, and oversight of portal materials to meet client expectations and compliance requirements.
Qualifications:
- At least 3 years of experience in a Client Service Associate role.
- A minimum of 2 years working within a brokerage custodian platform, such as Schwab or Fidelity.
- Experience with portfolio accounting systems, such as Orion or similar, is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail is essential.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Experience in the Wealth Management sector is preferred.
Salary: $80,000-$90,000 + bonus
