Position Overview
The Client Services Coordinator will deliver professional and courteous assistance to our clients, producers, and internal teams. With a positive demeanor, the Coordinator will provide exceptional support in acquiring, maintaining, expanding, and servicing our employee benefits accounts. The Coordinator will collaborate with producers to ensure alignment with corporate objectives, carrier requirements, and client needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly and professionally to the service inquiries of our clients.
- Provide administrative and technical support to Producers to benefit clients and achieve the agency's strategic objectives.
- Assist producers in enhancing coverage for existing accounts.
- Generate quote requests, spreadsheets, and related documents while ensuring their accuracy.
- Maintain oversight on renewals to guarantee timely preparation and processing.
- Prepare insurance summaries and proposals as necessary for account evaluations.
- Manage renewal activities, including remarketing renewals, contacting clients, and creating renewal proposals in collaboration with the producer.
- Refer current and prospective clients to other departments for additional services.
- Adhere to all agency protocols, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Communicate effectively in both verbal and written formats.
- Possess a broad understanding of insurance products and the ability to work independently.
- Utilize computer software effectively and understand its functionalities.
- Oversee tasks performed by Assistant Client Service Specialists.
- Maintain organized client records.
- Retrieve carrier information from their respective platforms.
- Update internal systems as required.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree is highly preferred.
- Experience working with computers in a Windows environment.
- Strong proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Word and MS Excel.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Above-average mathematical abilities.
- Life, Accident, and Health Insurance License is preferred.
