Role Description

As a Business Development Specialist, you will play a crucial role in advancing our company's growth strategy. Your primary focus will be on identifying and cultivating partnership opportunities, fostering relationships with potential collaborators, and establishing a robust ecosystem. This position demands a combination of research capabilities, exceptional communication skills, and a results-oriented approach. You will also represent our organization at industry events, enhancing our network and brand visibility.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue potential partners through various channels, including networking events and online research.
  • Actively seek projects to enhance Sahara Labs and integrate with our platform.
  • Participate in blockchain conferences, AI symposiums, and Web3 networking events.
  • Develop and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to expand partnership opportunities.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with partners.
  • Conduct research on target blockchain and AI partners to understand their requirements.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to refine outreach strategies and explore co-marketing opportunities.
  • Monitor and report on key performance metrics, including outreach efforts and leads generated.
  • Maintain accurate records of all prospecting activities.
  • Stay informed about industry trends and competitor activities.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role.
  • Experience in the cryptocurrency sector, particularly in business development for blockchain Layer 1 or 2.
  • Strong interest in emerging technologies, especially AI and Web3.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in CRM software, preferably HubSpot.
  • Strong research and analytical abilities.
