Position Overview:
This role is pivotal in enhancing operational efficiency by managing Human Resources functions to ensure adherence to company policies and relevant regulations. The individual will oversee recruitment strategies, onboarding processes, training initiatives, and various HR programs.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage HR functions to guarantee compliance with organizational policies and legal standards. Collaborate with management to align with business objectives.
2. Facilitate recruitment processes including job postings, candidate screening, and interview coordination. Provide recommendations to hiring managers based on applicant evaluations.
3. Oversee the onboarding process for new hires, ensuring completion of necessary background checks, orientation, and preparation of employee documentation.
4. Conduct New Hire Orientation sessions and confirm job assignments with management.
5. Maintain accurate employment records and ensure compliance with I-9 documentation requirements.
6. Coordinate the issuance of employee identification badges in accordance with regulatory requirements for new hires and terminations.
7. Input new hire information, payroll changes, and other employment-related data into the HR information system.
8. Assist in managing workers' compensation claims, unemployment inquiries, and employee relations matters.
9. Liaise with payroll to provide necessary information and resolve any discrepancies.
10. Organize and oversee employee transportation initiatives and assist in creating communication materials for staff.
11. Track employee training records and assist in generating monthly and quarterly compliance reports.
12. Manage employee recognition and safety programs.
13. Support the benefits enrollment process and update related materials as necessary.
14. Handle employment verification requests and inquiries as required.
15. Provide customer service by addressing general employee inquiries and requests.

16. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience:
A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field from an accredited institution, along with a minimum of three years of progressive experience in Human Resources, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage effectively with employees, clients, and vendors.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and secure sensitive information.
  • Strong understanding of employment laws and regulations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HR management systems.
  • High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • Capability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and a service-oriented mindset.
Physical Requirements:
The physical demands of this position may include:
  • Regularly required to stand, walk, sit, talk, and hear; use hands to manipulate objects; reach with hands and arms; may occasionally need to climb stairs.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and using a computer.
  • Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 10 pounds.

The work environment characteristics for this position include:
