Job Title: Proposal Specialist

AGB Search, LLC is seeking a highly motivated and talented Proposal Specialist to join our team. As a Proposal Specialist, you will be responsible for developing and writing proposals that showcase our expertise and qualifications to prospective clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review Requests for Proposals to understand the requirements for a successful proposal
  • Develop and adhere to a proposal development timeline for each proposal
  • Research to understand the mission, vision, values, strategic plans, financial position, etc. of prospective clients
  • Research to understand current events or trends in higher education that may be impacting prospective clients
  • Create new content and edit existing content for use in proposals
  • Utilize research to write proposals that are cohesive, compelling, and responsive to each specific request
  • Produce proposals that are formatted into a highly professional finished product

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in journalism, Writing, English, Political Science, or another writing-intensive discipline
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in a high-volume, deadline-oriented writing position
  • Excellent writing and editing skills
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • A high degree of organization and ability to prioritize and adapt to changing needs
  • Professional and collaborative demeanor, outstanding communication skills, and ability to work with experienced professionals
