**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Multi Unit Chef to join our team at Schulson Collective HQ. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for executing food preparation for all events at all outlets, participating in load-ins and load-outs for events, and overseeing set up at events.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Execute food preparation for all events at all outlets
  • Participate in load-ins and load-outs for events
  • Oversee set up at events
  • Must be able to work independently, follow recipes, and complete production sheets
  • Ability to execute off-premise events holding the highest standards for our ingredients and service
  • Able to create a mobile kitchen from scratch at any of the events we may have and execute as if it were a top-tier kitchen
  • Quick thinker, being able to smoothly problem-solve any sudden situations that may arise while running a party
  • Must be able to delegate tasks to the other chefs assisting the event and execute it in a timely manner
  • Attention to detail, making sure all buffets are properly stocked, and ensure that parties that require plated meals go out smoothly and plates look clean and are aesthetically pleasing
  • Maintains clean and sanitary food preparation and storage areas at all times in accordance with the state and local sanitation requirements and codes
  • Make regular inspections of the commissary to observe the quality of food preparation and service, food appearance, and cleanliness and sanitation of production and service areas, equipment, and employee appearance
  • Work with the Director of Catering to ensure consistency of product, identifying potential issues, and planning for upcoming events
  • Responsible for maintaining sanitation and cleanliness standards as set forth by Schulson Collective and Seven Principles
  • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein

**Physical Demands**

The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally push and/or pull up to 100 pounds. The employee will spend over 4 hours daily standing or walking.

**Required Education and Experience**

Degree from Culinary Arts school is preferred. 1 or more years of Catering experience, preferably off-site. Must be able to work flexible hours and days. Must exhibit top-notch teamwork. Must be able to work well under pressure; meet deadlines and ticket time goals.
