About the Role

As a Sous Chef, you will have the opportunity to work with a talented team of chefs to create innovative and delicious dishes that showcase the best of local and sustainable ingredients.

Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Lead a team of cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient and effective food preparation and presentation
  • Develop and maintain relationships with local farmers and purveyors to source high-quality ingredients
  • Monitor food costs and inventory to ensure profitability
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and sanitation standards
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop and implement new menu items and concepts
Requirements
  • Minimum of 2 years of cooking experience in a professional kitchen
  • Advanced knife handling skills and knowledge of cooking techniques
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Current ServSafe Certification or PA Food Handlers certification
