We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Patient Access Representative to join our team at St. Francis-Emory Healthcare. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that our patients receive the highest level of care and service.
Responsibilities
- Collect and enter accurate demographic, personal, and financial information for patients undergoing registration.
- Verify and enter physician orders for prescribed tests, supplies, and procedures.
- Communicate with patients to confirm appointments, discuss payment expectations, and address any questions or concerns.
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Assist with training and onboarding of new staff members.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision.
