Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Access Representative to join our team at Equitas Health. As a key member of our front office team, you will provide exceptional customer service to our patients and visitors, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide front-line customer service to patients and visitors, responding to phone calls and in-person inquiries
  • Manage office operations, including ordering supplies, maintaining equipment, and coordinating schedules
  • Schedule patient appointments for counseling and other programs, as needed
  • Collect and update patient information, including demographics, insurance, and copays
  • Assist office staff with data entry, tracking, and reporting
  • Coordinate backup staffing for front-end services and maintain meeting rooms and lobby areas
  • Prepare correspondence, reports, and other documents as needed
  • Participate in department and agency projects as assigned
Requirements
  • High school degree or equivalent
  • Minimum of two years of similar experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, including drafting correspondence
  • Experience with data collection and data entry, as well as proficiency with MS Outlook, Word, and Excel
  • Ability to maintain individuals' confidentiality and work with diverse populations
