Responsibilities include collecting and entering accurate demographic, personal, and financial information during the registration process. This may involve entering physician orders for prescribed tests, supplies, and procedures. You may also be asked to contact patients the day before arrival to remind them of their appointment, set payment expectations, and answer any questions they may have. As a preceptor, you will guide new hires and be able to float to one or more practices.

Qualifications

Minimum Education: High school diploma or equivalent is required.

Required Skills: Critical thinking, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision are essential. You must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

Minimum Work Experience: A minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in a customer service-focused environment is preferred. Computer and data entry experience are also beneficial.

Compensation

Minimum Salary: $14.93

Maximum Salary: $22.39
