Position Summary

In the role of Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational functions of AvantStay properties within your assigned region. This position involves collaboration with various teams, including maintenance, housekeeping, and operations, to ensure that guest expectations are not only met but exceeded. Proximity to the market is essential, as frequent travel to multiple properties will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison for property owners, fostering strong relationships through effective communication and regular updates on property status.
  • Manage and resolve guest and homeowner issues promptly, ensuring satisfaction through quality oversight of resolutions.
  • Maintain AvantStay's standards and metrics related to owner satisfaction and operational excellence.
  • Oversee housekeeping and maintenance tasks, ensuring properties are well-kept and ready for guests.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and enhance property operations.
  • Perform essential administrative tasks to support daily operations and allocate responsibilities as needed.
  • Ensure adequate inventory levels of supplies and linens across properties.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to verify compliance with company standards.
  • Respond to guest and homeowner inquiries in a timely manner across various communication platforms.
  • Travel frequently to oversee operations and ensure adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

Required Skills and Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years in property management, preferably with experience in multi-site operations.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Background in Hospitality or Real Estate is advantageous; ARM designation is a plus.
  • Possession of a reliable vehicle and valid driver's license.
  • Residence within the designated operational area is necessary.
  • Availability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Physical capability to perform tasks that may involve standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong self-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce is beneficial.

  • Competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000, plus performance bonuses and equity options.
