Position Summary

In the role of Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational functions of AvantStay properties within your assigned region. This position involves collaboration with maintenance, housekeeping, and operational teams to ensure the highest standards of service are met. You will need to effectively manage relationships with property owners and ensure that guest expectations are consistently exceeded. Frequent travel within the designated area is required to maintain close oversight of operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison for property owners, fostering strong relationships through effective communication and regular updates on property status.
  • Monitor and resolve guest and homeowner issues promptly, ensuring resolutions meet quality standards and enhance satisfaction.
  • Ensure compliance with AvantStay's performance metrics related to owner satisfaction.
  • Oversee housekeeping and maintenance tasks, ensuring properties are well-maintained and ready for guests.
  • Collaborate with various teams to assess and improve property operations, including maintenance and housekeeping.
  • Handle essential administrative tasks to support daily operations and delegate responsibilities as needed.
  • Maintain adequate inventory levels of supplies and linens across properties.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure adherence to company standards.
  • Respond to inquiries and concerns from guests and homeowners in a timely manner.
  • Travel regularly to different properties to oversee operations and ensure compliance with company standards.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, preferably with multi-site operations.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Background in hospitality or real estate is advantageous; ARM designation is a plus.
  • Possession of a reliable vehicle and a valid driver's license.
  • Residence within the designated operational area is required.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
  • Physical ability to perform tasks that include standing, walking, and lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with Salesforce is beneficial.

  • Competitive salary range of $70,000 - $75,000, along with performance bonuses and equity options.
