Position Summary

In the role of Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operational functions of AvantStay properties within your assigned region. This position involves collaborating with various teams, including maintenance, housekeeping, and operations, to ensure that all guest expectations are not only met but exceeded. While this role does not currently include direct reports, it requires strong supervisory skills and the ability to meet strict deadlines. Frequent travel to different properties within the designated area is essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary liaison to foster and maintain relationships with property owners, ensuring effective communication regarding their properties and addressing any concerns.
  • Oversee the resolution of guest and homeowner issues, ensuring timely and satisfactory outcomes while monitoring the quality of service provided.
  • Maintain and uphold AvantStay's standards for owner satisfaction and operational metrics.
  • Coordinate housekeeping and maintenance tasks, ensuring properties are well-kept and meet guest expectations.
  • Collaborate with various teams to assess and enhance maintenance and housekeeping operations across properties.
  • Perform essential administrative tasks to support daily operations and delegate responsibilities as needed.
  • Ensure properties are stocked with necessary supplies and consumables.
  • Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Respond promptly to inquiries and concerns from guests and homeowners through various communication channels.
  • Travel frequently to different properties to oversee operations and ensure adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in property management, preferably with multi-site operations and experience working with decentralized teams.
  • At least 1 year of experience in a supervisory role.
  • Background in Hospitality or Real Estate is advantageous; an Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) designation is a plus.
  • Possession of a reliable vehicle suitable for winter conditions and a valid driver's license.
  • Must reside within the designated operational area.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, to meet business needs.
  • Physical ability to stand, walk, and drive for extended periods, as well as perform tasks that may require lifting and moving items.
  • Strong self-management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); familiarity with Salesforce is a plus.
