Overview

Federal Realty is actively seeking a part-time Client Relations Associate to become a vital member of our Concierge team. This role is ideal for an energetic individual who, under the guidance of the Concierge Manager, will enhance the customer experience for visitors and the general public. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, including availability for afternoon, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts. The Client Relations Associate will assist with providing shopping information, processing gift card transactions, making dining reservations, and offering additional services as determined by the Marketing and Operations Department. This position necessitates collaboration and communication with team members to meet Federal Realty's objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome shoppers and retailers; engage in conversation and build rapport.
  • Provide guests with directions and respond to inquiries.
  • Recommend and sell products based on customer needs, including gift and store suggestions, as well as information on promotions and events.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers.
  • Compile end-of-day reports as instructed by the Concierge Manager.
  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of services, amenities, and store locations.
  • Execute all service functions of the Customer Service Center.
  • Operate equipment at the Customer Service location, including phones, computers, gift card systems, fax machines, and printers.
  • Provide on-call assistance to retailers regarding gift card inquiries.
  • Support the marketing team in the execution of promotional programs and special events.
  • Assist the operations team with daily operational tasks as needed.
  • Coordinate resources (people, materials, support) to fulfill requests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
  • High School Diploma preferred.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple deadlines professionally.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to deliver outstanding customer service.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customers, colleagues, external partners, vendors, and tenants.
  • Proactive, approachable, and solution-oriented mindset.
  • Must be adaptable and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel.
