Role Overview

The Client Service Associate (NR) operates under direct supervision to support one or more Financial Advisors in managing client accounts and documentation. This role encompasses a variety of administrative tasks, including but not limited to, document preparation, record maintenance, communication handling, and providing exceptional customer service to clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute clerical tasks associated with the initiation and ongoing management of client accounts, ensuring accurate coding based on client preferences.
  • Collaborate with Financial Advisors and clients to gather necessary documentation pertinent to the established accounts.
  • Organize and maintain comprehensive records of client accounts and trade-related documentation for Financial Advisors and branch office requirements.
  • Facilitate operational or administrative functions for client requests, such as processing check requests, wiring funds, and updating address information.
  • Respond to client inquiries regarding account-related information, ensuring compliance with regulations regarding the provision of quotes and stock information.
  • Generate reports and provide relevant information to Financial Advisors as needed.
  • Recognize and escalate any situations requiring attention from Financial Advisors or the Branch Manager, including unusual client or employee behaviors.
  • Perform various administrative duties such as typing, filing, answering phones, and mailing documents, along with additional tasks assigned by Financial Advisors or the Branch Manager.
Qualifications
  • Administrative Knowledge - Familiarity with administrative and clerical processes, including word processing, spreadsheet applications, and record management.
  • Industry Knowledge - Basic understanding of the investment brokerage sector and relevant securities regulations.
  • Time Management - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks effectively, ensuring goals are met and resources are utilized efficiently.
  • Critical Thinking - Employ logical reasoning to evaluate different solutions and approaches to problem-solving.
  • Customer and Interpersonal Skills - Proficient in providing outstanding customer service and assessing client needs to ensure satisfaction.
  • Communication Skills - Capable of conveying information clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats.
Education & Experience
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years in a clerical or related industry role.
Compensation

Salary: $44,800 per year. Actual salaries may vary based on qualifications, skills, and overall competencies.
