Position Title: Project Manager Sustaining Engineering

Role Overview: The Project Manager for Sustaining Engineering is tasked with steering Life Cycle Management (LCM) initiatives for a product, technology, or system post-commercial launch.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategically planning, directing, and monitoring LCM projects or sub-projects.
  • Overseeing incremental modifications or portfolio enhancements that bolster existing business operations.
  • Ensuring project goals and objectives are met while balancing timelines, costs, quality standards, and requirements, while staying updated on project management methodologies and technical advancements.
  • Executing projects in accordance with established guidelines and protocols.
  • Preparing and executing individual projects or sub-projects for the LCM phase of a comprehensive project, adhering to agreed specifications regarding time, budget, and staffing.
  • Leading a small team of approximately five members.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess a customer-centric mindset and the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience, including a track record of leading workstreams from conception through to execution.
  • Expertise in plastic injection molding, experience with transitioning designs to mass production, and a strong background in design controls.
  • A comprehensive understanding of planning methodologies and estimation techniques related to resources, timelines, and risks in the relevant technical or functional area.

Communication and Leadership Skills:
Demonstrated ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders. Proven leadership skills to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, promote collaboration, and ensure accountability for project deliverables.

Compensation and Benefits:
The salary range for this position is between $85,000 and $135,000 annually. Actual compensation may vary based on factors such as job-related skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may include an annual incentive bonus, sales commission, or long-term incentives.

Additional Information:
U.S. work authorization is a prerequisite for employment. The company will not consider candidates requiring sponsorship for a work-authorized visa. Relocation benefits are not available for this position.
