Role Summary
This role is pivotal in overseeing the overall expansion, development, profitability, customer retention, satisfaction, member experience, and staffing of a branch. You will manage all operational functions within the branch and hold direct accountability for all personnel assigned to your location. Your success will hinge on a comprehensive understanding of branch operations to achieve consistent revenue growth and maintain or improve operating margins.

Key Responsibilities
  • Accountable for revenue generation and profitability through effective branch P&L management.
  • Oversee the sales of all AAA products within the branch, including Membership, Property & Casualty Insurance, Life Insurance, ancillary Insurance Products, and Travel services.
  • Manage daily operational activities and monitor monthly performance metrics.
  • Analyze branch data and performance statistics to identify growth opportunities and develop strategies for new business development.
  • Determine staffing and support needs to implement business plans and capitalize on branch opportunities.
  • Proactively address issues and develop solutions within business segments.
  • Lead the creation and execution of branch strategies and business plans.
  • Conduct recruitment, performance evaluations, and coaching for branch employees.
  • Foster an engaging work environment that encourages feedback and continuous improvement.
  • Drive leadership and talent development initiatives.
  • Build relationships within the community and represent AAA's interests to local leaders.
  • Ensure compliance with AAA policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Provide insights to enhance the competitive positioning of AAA products and services.

Qualifications
  • Proven leadership capabilities.
  • Demonstrated success in business decision-making and strategic planning.
  • Experience with P&L management and revenue accountability.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
  • Ability to collaborate across various business units.
  • Proficient in developing and executing business and financial plans.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to navigate change and ambiguity effectively.
  • Broad knowledge of the insurance industry and membership operations.
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Office applications.
  • Bi-lingual communication skills are a plus.
  • Insurance industry knowledge is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AAA products and systems is advantageous.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
  • 2-3 years of supervisory experience in travel, retail sales, insurance, or financial services.
  • 2-3 years of sales experience.
  • Valid Driver's License required.
  • Preferred: DOI Property and Casualty Insurance License and Life Insurance License.

Work Environment
This position is primarily office-based, requiring extended periods of sitting at a desk or workstation. Travel may be necessary for business meetings or conferences, with significant time spent using a personal computer.
