Position Summary: The selected candidate will be tasked with the safe and precise handling of materials, overseeing the receipt and storage of goods, and ensuring timely processing of shipments. This role is essential in delivering complete and punctual orders to our clientele.

Work Environment: This position requires onsite presence at the branch location. Please note that relocation assistance is not provided.

Compensation: Starting pay ranges from $17.00 to $20.00 per hour, accompanied by a comprehensive benefits package. We are actively hiring.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Receive and process incoming shipments
  • Organize and maintain inventory levels
  • Prepare and pack orders for customers and inter-branch transfers
  • Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment
  • Adhere to OSHA regulations and internal policies during all operations
  • Locate and retrieve materials from the warehouse and yard for delivery
  • Utilize forklifts for loading and unloading materials
  • Experience with box vans or flatbed trucks is advantageous

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in warehouse logistics, including shipping, receiving, and inventory control
  • Forklift operation experience with the ability to obtain certification
  • Basic math and computer proficiency
  • Prior experience in a warehouse setting
  • Familiarity with RF scanning devices
  • Capability to lift heavy materials
  • Understanding of inventory management principles
  • Basic knowledge of commercial and industrial piping systems

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening
  • Background check clearance
  • Valid and clean driving record
