• As a Regional Sales Manager at Ameriprise Financial, you will play a pivotal role in driving sales growth and business development across a designated territory. Your expertise in coaching and mentoring sales teams will be instrumental in identifying and addressing areas for improvement, and devising strategies to boost client acquisition and retention. Collaborating closely with field leaders, you will leverage your analytical skills to analyze sales data, identify trends, and develop targeted solutions to drive business growth. Key responsibilities include providing proactive support to sales advisors, meeting service level agreements, and developing personalized growth plans to drive sales results and behavior change.

• To succeed in this role, you will need to possess a strong understanding of financial planning principles and processes, as well as experience in sales and marketing. Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to effectively interact with all levels of the organization, from sales advisors to field leaders. Previous experience in the financial services industry is highly desirable, and you will be expected to stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices. Ultimately, your ability to influence behavior change and drive sales results will be critical in achieving business goals and objectives.

• Key qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, 3-5 years of relevant experience, and active Series 7, State securities agent registration, and State IAR registration. A strong understanding of financial planning principles and processes, as well as experience in sales and marketing, is essential. Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment and successfully managing multiple competing priorities is also highly desirable.
