HVAC Operations Supervisor

HVAC Operations Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the execution of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contracts at designated sites. This role involves supervising the personnel assigned to mechanical operations, programming, monitoring, and responding to alarms, as well as other contracted responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the O&M team in addressing all matters related to contract execution.
- Manage the hiring, training, and scheduling of staff necessary for effective O&M.
- Oversee programming and monitoring of alarm responses and mechanical operations.
- Ensure compliance with contract specifications regarding HVAC, mechanical, fire, and security systems.
- Maintain communication with clients and facility occupants to guarantee satisfaction and identify opportunities for additional services.
- Develop and implement comprehensive training and development plans for employees.
- Provide regular management reports as requested by the O&M team and clients.
- Be available for on-call support 24/7, offering telephone assistance and emergency response as needed.
- Ensure adherence to all city, state, and federal licensing and certification requirements.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation for submission to relevant authorities.
- Review all work to ensure compliance with established safety standards.
- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, upholding company standards.
Applicants should possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent field experience, along with a minimum of five years in operations and maintenance. Proficiency in programming and operating Building Automation Systems is essential, alongside a foundational understanding of HVAC systems and their functionalities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate the ability to manage and train entry-level staff and possess knowledge of company procedures and policies. A commitment to teamwork and a dedication to fostering a quality work environment are vital.
