Position Overview

The Facilities Operations Manager for HVAC Solutions is a key role within Johnson Controls' Building Technologies & Solutions division. This position is responsible for overseeing the daily operations at a designated client site, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of facility management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and supervise the execution of contracts while collaborating with client executives on strategic projects and budget management.
  • Lead a team of operations and maintenance specialists, providing guidance and support to enhance their skills and performance.
  • Ensure compliance with maintenance standards for Building Management and Operational Technology (OT) systems.
  • Oversee the financial objectives of the Operations & Maintenance business, ensuring alignment with company goals.
  • Review and authorize expenditures for necessary tools, equipment, and materials to maintain systems and assets.
  • Utilize technical expertise to resolve complex operational challenges and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A High School diploma or equivalent, with additional technical training preferred.
  • A minimum of five years of experience in HVAC or a related field.
  • At least two years of leadership experience in a management role.
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related discipline is highly desirable.
  • Extensive knowledge of operations across engineering, sales, and manufacturing disciplines.
