Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facility Operations Manager to join our team at Johnson Controls International. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the seamless operation of our electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement facility management strategies to maintain a high level of equipment performance and efficiency.
  • Assist in the development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and generic processes to ensure consistency and quality.
  • Create work orders, schedules, and dispatch technicians for preventative and corrective maintenance.
  • Monitor and investigate discrepancies with tools and materials in our Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
  • Coordinate with subcontractors to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Verify subcontractor times and charges are accurate and in compliance with company policies.
  • Enforce all Johnson Controls, Inc. (JCI) safety and risk management policies and procedures.
  • Attend training programs to stay up-to-date on industry best practices and company policies.

Requirements:

  • High School diploma, GED, or equivalent experience.
  • Service contracting experience, preferably in a facility management role.
  • Scheduling experience and proficiency in CMMS systems.
  • Facility management experience, including HVAC/R, Electrical, Plumbing, and General Facilities.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work well under pressure.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude and work well in a team environment.
