We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Human Resources Division as a Payroll and Benefits Assistant. This part-time role will be responsible for performing a variety of administrative and clerical tasks related to payroll and employee benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll entries, review accuracy, and troubleshoot discrepancies.
  • Prepare and maintain related documentation to support payroll entries.
  • Audit payroll system deductions and special calculations.
  • Proof and maintain records for compliance and audits.
  • Provide support for employee inquiries regarding benefits, such as medical, dental, and vision.
  • Track employee leaves of absence and maintain accurate records.
  • Prepare and maintain departmental procedures and ensure complete and accurate documentation for new hires, terminations, and status changes.
Requirements:
  • At least 1 year of payroll and employee benefits experience required.
  • Excellent organizational, proofing, and problem-solving skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and web-based applications.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented department.
  • Able to set own priorities and organize workload effectively.
