Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Global Payroll Specialist to join our Finance Team at Labster. The primary responsibility of this role will be to process our global payrolls, ensuring accuracy and compliance with various regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process payrolls across entities (USA, Spain, Denmark, UK, Canada, and Switzerland)
  • Process, book, and reconcile subcontractor payrolls (EoR - Employee of Records)
  • Lead communication and alignment with the People Department related to Payroll
  • Handle employee reimbursements
  • Monitor, book, and reconcile commissions and bonus calculations
  • Take part in streamlining and optimizing our processes between the People Department and Finance
  • Perform month-end reconciliations and analysis (vacation liabilities, tax liabilities, benefit liabilities, etc.)
  • Assist with the annual audit process
  • Monitor Payroll-related tax compliance
  • Coordinate the annual 401k audit
  • Continuously improve financial processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience preparing Payroll, preferably in international organizations
  • 3+ years of experience with tools like ADP, Humaans (our HRIS), NetSuite, Excel, and Google Sheets
  • A plus if you have experience working in multinational companies (various regulatory frameworks)
  • Exceptional analytical skills coupled with a solid understanding of business dynamics
  • Strong communication and critical thinking skills are required
  • Ability to work cross-functionally and with the senior leadership team
  • Verbal and written fluency in English is required
  • Proven track record of delivering on commitments, and working closely and effectively with peers and leaders outside of the Finance team
