Group/Division

The KLA Services team headquartered in Milpitas, CA is our service organization that consists of Service Sales and Marketing, Spares Supply Chain management, Field Operations, Engineering, Product Training, and Technical Support. The KLA Services organization partners with our field teams and customers in all business sectors to maintain the high performance and productivity of our products through a flexible portfolio of services. Our comprehensive services include: proactive management of tools to identify and improve performance; expertise in optics, image processing and motion control with worldwide service engineers, 24/7 technical support teams and knowledge management systems; and an extensive parts network to ensure worldwide availability of parts.

Job Description/Preferred Qualifications

Job Description

As the Project Operations Leader, you will have the opportunity to collaborate with the PSO management team to establish support strategies aimed at developing and enhancing processes on a global scale. You will lead a project team to design service support processes, systems, and infrastructure while working closely with various KLA organizations, including product divisions, KLA Services, global manufacturing, and supply chain.

Responsibilities

In your role as the PSO (Product Support Operations) Project Operations Leader, you will:

  • Develop and craft comprehensive service improvement project plans, including schedules, resources, business requirements, infrastructure and systems designs, and budgets.
  • Create mitigation strategies to address project changes, scope adjustments, and delays.
  • Lead and train technical personnel on new procedures and processes.
  • Monitor project requirements, achievements, and timelines.
  • Provide updates and progress reports to management.
  • Coordinate all elements of a project, including tasks, resources, collaborators, and other project components, while managing conflicts and making trade-offs as necessary.
  • Establish a support strategy for ramping processes, infrastructure, and personnel globally.
  • Track and report on infrastructure design, reliability, or bugs to IT support teams.
  • Facilitate efficient meetings, assign ownership, track project tasks, and generate meeting minutes and action items.
  • Work with the management team to inspire change and foster a positive change management environment.
  • Manage project risks and implement mitigations, streamlining processes for more efficient progress.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Familiarity with project management tools, processes, and methodologies.
  • Knowledge of process quality improvement methods.
  • Experience in service delivery for capital equipment.
  • Understanding of CRM, Customer Relationship Management Systems.
  • Experience in enterprise process development and release.
  • Strong analytical, database, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven ability to influence process partners and drive multi-functional improvements.

Minimum Qualifications

Master's Level Degree and 1 year of related work experience; Bachelor's Level Degree and 3 years of related work experience.
