Taco Bell - Hillsboro is seeking a dedicated full-time or part-time Restaurant Operations Leader to enhance our team.

We are in search of an individual who is enthusiastic about the hospitality sector and eager to refine their skills while advancing their career at Taco Bell - Hillsboro.

Position Overview:

The primary duties of the Restaurant Operations Leader include the seamless management of shifts, achieving the set objectives of the establishment, and being responsible for their team.

The Restaurant Operations Leader should have a genuine interest in the restaurant industry and aspire to gain a high level of expertise in food, beverage, and service delivery.

They must effectively balance daily operations, team management, product oversight, administrative tasks, and the consistent application of operational systems.

Operational and Staffing Responsibilities:

  • Ensures hourly staff accountability through prompt feedback and coaching, adhering to disciplinary protocols when necessary.
  • Oversees staff training, execution of menu briefings, and guarantees that the team maintains professionalism, appearance, and guest satisfaction.
  • Implements new hire training and follows up on ongoing training in a timely manner.
  • Responsible for maintaining adequate staffing levels during all shifts of duty.
  • Ensures the cleanliness of the restaurant.
  • Focuses the team on guest satisfaction and addresses any guest concerns.
  • Provides leadership and serves as a role model for fellow managers and all staff members.

Financial Responsibilities:

  • Develops and demonstrates an understanding of the Profit and Loss statement and actively engages in P&L discussions.
  • Responsible for cash management, including opening and closing bank drawer reconciliation, bank deposits, and check reconciliation.
  • Supervises and communicates with hourly staff and management to meet budgeted costs related to labor, food, beverage, and controllable expenses.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in restaurant management.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving sales and cost targets, personal objectives, and developing management talent.
  • Proficient in computer and POS systems.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and teaching capabilities.
  • Excellent communication skills, including oral, written, and listening.
  • Passion for guest service, employee engagement, and the restaurant industry.
  • Proactive problem-solving skills.
  • Availability to work various shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
