Role Overview:
  • The Grant Compliance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all grant management activities align with the stipulations set forth by funding organizations. Responsibilities include monitoring grant operations, maintaining accurate documentation, generating and submitting financial reports to relevant governmental bodies, and offering guidance to uphold compliance with federal, state, and organizational regulations. This position is tasked with overseeing compliance and reporting processes related to grants while ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and guidelines. Additionally, the Grant Compliance Coordinator will formulate policies and procedures to bolster compliance efforts and provide training to staff on grant compliance matters.
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary Range: $55,000 - $62,000 annually, commensurate with education, experience, and certifications.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development of budgets, forecasts, annual reports, audits, and analytical reviews as necessary in relation to grant oversight.
  • Manage the entire lifecycle of grants, from pre-award to post-award phases.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with grant requirements and timelines.
  • Conduct audits and prepare reports: Oversee internal audits to verify grant compliance and develop required reports for grantors, including financial and performance metrics.
  • Act as the primary contact for inquiries and concerns related to compliance.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting practices and business operations, particularly in grant management, compliance, and auditing; experience in the nonprofit sector is preferred.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.
  3. Proven knowledge of federal, state, and local grant regulations and guidelines.
