Position Overview

This full-time, on-site Accounting Specialist position is essential for maintaining precise financial documentation, ensuring adherence to accounting regulations, and assisting with various financial operations. This role presents an exciting chance for a proficient accounting professional to make a significant impact within a thriving franchise.

Key Responsibilities
  • General Ledger Management: Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions in compliance with GAAP standards.
  • Monthly Financial Close: Aid in the preparation of monthly financial statements, ensuring both accuracy and timeliness.
  • Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the complete process of accounts payable and receivable, including invoice management and payment reconciliation.
  • Financial Reporting: Create and evaluate financial reports to assist in decision-making and budget management.
  • Cash Flow Oversight: Supervise bank accounts, process daily transactions, and conduct monthly reconciliations.
  • Tax Compliance: Prepare monthly sales tax returns for multiple jurisdictions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting positions.
  • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong grasp of GAAP principles and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
