Position Overview
This full-time, on-site Accounting Specialist position is integral to our financial operations. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial records, adhering to accounting standards, and assisting in various financial processes. Key Responsibilities
- General Ledger Management: Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions in compliance with GAAP standards.
- Monthly Financial Close: Aid in the preparation of monthly financial statements, ensuring precision and punctuality.
- Accounts Payable and Receivable: Oversee the complete cycle of accounts payable and receivable, including invoice processing and payment reconciliations.
- Financial Analysis: Produce and interpret financial reports to facilitate informed decision-making and budget management.
- Cash Flow Oversight: Supervise bank transactions, manage daily payments and collections, and conduct monthly account reconciliations.
- Tax Compliance: Prepare monthly sales tax returns for various jurisdictions.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting roles.
- Proficient in accounting software (e.g., Sage Intacct, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong grasp of GAAP principles and financial reporting standards.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Ability to thrive both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
