Role Overview:
  • The Grant Compliance Coordinator plays a crucial role in ensuring that all grant management activities adhere to the stipulations set forth by funding organizations. Responsibilities include monitoring grant activities, maintaining necessary documentation, preparing and submitting financial reports to relevant government entities, and providing guidance to ensure compliance with federal, state, and agency regulations. This position is responsible for overseeing compliance and reporting processes associated with grants while ensuring adherence to all applicable laws, regulations, and guidelines. The Grant Compliance Coordinator also develops policies and procedures to enhance compliance efforts and conducts training for staff on grant compliance matters.
  • Work Schedule: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
  • Salary: $55,000 - $62,000 annually, commensurate with education, experience, and certification/licensure.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, annual reports, audits, and analytical reviews related to grant oversight.
  • Oversee the entire lifecycle of grants, from pre-award to post-award phases.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure compliance with grant requirements and timelines.
  • Conduct internal audits to verify grant compliance and prepare necessary reports for grantors, including financial and performance documentation.
  • Act as the primary contact for inquiries related to compliance issues.
Qualifications:
  1. Minimum of five years of experience in accounting practices and business operations, with a focus on grant management, compliance, and auditing; experience in nonprofit organizations is preferred.
  2. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  3. Proven knowledge of federal, state, and local grant regulations and guidelines.
