We are currently looking for a full-time Senior Financial Analyst. In this position, you will engage in various responsibilities, including the preparation, monitoring, and maintenance of financial documentation to accurately reflect the organization's assets, liabilities, and income statements. Specific areas of focus will be assigned based on your experience, along with performing other relevant analytical tasks to support the agency's operations. Compensation: Salary (Based on Experience)
Employment Type: Full-Time – 40 hours/week

Your standard workweek will offer some flexibility in daytime scheduling, Monday through Friday.


Key Responsibilities:
  1. Maintain precise and current financial records by documenting transactions, reconciling bank statements and other accounts, and verifying financial information.
  2. Oversee and reconcile general ledger accounts to ensure accuracy and completeness in accordance with monthly closing procedures.
  3. Manage daily bookkeeping tasks, including cash receipts through various banking methods and accounts receivable functions.
  4. Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, reports, and presentations, ensuring compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and organizational policies.
  5. Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations for financial transactions.
  6. Gather data required for grants and funding as requested by the grants department.
  7. Collaborate with fundraising team members to ensure timely and accurate recording of donations, with monthly reconciliations on a year-to-date basis.
  8. Adhere to agency policies and procedures, including HIPAA requirements.

Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and attention-to-detail skills.
  • Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.

Work Environment:

This position typically involves working in an indoor office setting or remotely, utilizing a computer and related technology throughout the workday. The noise level in the office is generally moderate.
