Are you dedicated to enhancing the employee experience in a vibrant retail setting? We are looking for a motivated and passionate Human Resources Representative to join our organization. This essential role is integral to our operations, where you will play a key part in attracting top talent, nurturing a positive workplace culture, and ensuring our employees receive the support necessary for their success.

The Store HR Representative offers HR support and guidance to store leadership, focusing on various HR-related matters such as staffing, workforce planning, training and development, retention, onboarding, employee relations, compensation, EEO compliance, safety, and HR policies. This role collaborates closely with store leadership and the regional HR team to promote HR objectives and strategies by performing the following responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the recruitment, interviewing, and selection process for both leadership and non-leadership positions within the store, managing the applicant tracking system and applications.
  • Facilitate effective orientation, onboarding, and training programs to enhance engagement and retention.
  • Champion employee engagement initiatives through various HR programs.
  • Ensure clear communication with all team members, engaging leadership to foster open dialogue.
  • Support the reporting, analysis, execution, and follow-up related to talent management, development, acquisition, and rewards processes.
  • Guide store leadership on career development resources for team members, tracking progress on individual development plans and training completion.
  • Provide consultation and recommendations to leadership regarding employee relations, dispute resolution, corrective actions, and EEO matters.
  • Assist in investigating and resolving employee complaints or policy violations.
  • Offer support on company policies and procedures regarding employee relations, compensation, benefits administration, and talent management.
  • Assist HR Market Managers with various projects as needed.

Qualifications:
  • High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate Degree or higher in Human Resources preferred.
  • Ability to demonstrate leadership presence and approachability.
  • Proactive and capable of working independently.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent listening and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to build effective relationships and rapport across all organizational levels.
  • High energy, adaptability, and flexibility in scheduling.
  • Demonstrated confidentiality and trustworthiness.
