We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to join our team at ATR International for a key client.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage in low-level design, development, and product testing support tasks, executing modifications and updates of electronic components, software, systems, or circuitry under supervision.
  • Provide layout and design assistance for engineers and offer recommendations for medium-scale projects with some oversight.
  • Create or follow spreadsheets, schematics, parts lists, and necessary documentation to finalize designs with guidance.
  • Assist in developing and executing both manual and automated test plans, test cases, and procedures, while reproducing and troubleshooting moderately complex issues and generating test reports.
  • Install, upgrade, configure, and assist in selecting equipment and components based on specifications, tolerances, and reliability, while monitoring equipment performance and analyzing complex failures.
  • Conduct analyses to identify, troubleshoot, and diagnose straightforward issues, escalating to leadership when necessary.
  • Diagnose and resolve simple technical problems with minimal supervision.
  • Collect and integrate data from stakeholders to comprehend basic specifications and formulate fundamental solutions.
  • Manage and prioritize individual project tasks, deadlines, and deliverables effectively.
  • Adapt to significant changes and challenges to maintain pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Collaborate with team members and other departments to complete project objectives.
Requirements:

Essential Skills:
1. Proficiency in Manual and Automated testing, particularly on Windows devices.
2. Experience in Benchmarking, Performance, or Power testing is essential.
3. Skilled in Office Applications (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
4. Experience in preparing technical reports and charts with various metrics.
5. Familiarity with preparing devices for product demonstrations.

Technologies:
  • Knowledge of Performance Benchmarks.
  • Testing experience on Windows or Android devices.
  • Understanding of Power Testing and related tools (e.g., Power Monitor).
  • Familiarity with debugging tools (e.g., QPST, QXDM, or similar).

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent, along with 3+ years of experience in design, development, R&D, or related fields in Electronics or similar areas.

Experience:
3+ years of relevant experience in design, development, R&D, or related fields in Electronics or similar areas.
