Position Overview:

The Customer Technical Support Specialist will provide essential assistance to Navy program offices in the management and execution of Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) lifecycle logistics. This role involves coordinating with service providers to ensure timely delivery of technical services and maintaining an organized inventory of assets and software updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver technical support for NMCI by aiding users with account management, including creation, troubleshooting, and deactivation of accounts.
  • Facilitate the mapping of printers and network drives, while supporting the Program Office in Knowledge Management to ensure effective file sharing and organization.
  • Maintain security protocols and manage distribution groups to safeguard sensitive information.

Essential Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Proficient in standard NMCI technical support tasks, including user account management.
  • Experience in equipment procurement, delivery tracking, and related logistics.
  • Ability to submit Move, Add, and Change (MAC) requests for user relocations and software license adjustments.
  • Familiarity with Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center (NSERC) Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of tools such as .NET, Service Request eForms, SReForms, and Active Directory.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • High School diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in System Administration.
  • Knowledge in Knowledge Management practices.
  • A Bachelor's degree is advantageous.

Clearance Requirements:

Applicants must undergo a security investigation and meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

Salary is determined by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The projected compensation range for this position is between $54,000.00 and $123,000.00 annually.

Work Environment:

Our culture emphasizes flexibility and collaboration, whether in-person or remote. Depending on the position's designation, you may work from a Booz Allen or client site facility as required.
