Position Overview:

The Customer Technical Support Specialist will provide essential assistance to Navy program offices in the management and execution of Navy Marine Corps Intranet (NMCI) lifecycle logistics. This role involves coordinating with service providers to ensure timely delivery of services and maintaining an organized inventory of assets and software updates.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate NMCI technical support by aiding users with account setup, resolving account-related issues, and managing account deactivations.
  • Assist in mapping printers and network drives, while supporting the Program Office in Knowledge Management to ensure effective file sharing and organization.
  • Maintain security protocols and manage distribution groups.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a technical support role.
  • Proficient in standard NMCI technical support processes, including user account management and troubleshooting.
  • Experience in equipment procurement, delivery, and tracking.
  • Ability to submit Move, Add, and Change (MAC) requests for user relocations and software license adjustments.
  • Familiarity with Naval Systems Engineering Resource Center (NSERC) Management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of tools such as .NET, Service Request eForms, SReForms, and Active Directory.
  • Possession of a Secret clearance.
  • High School diploma or GED required.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in System Administration.
  • Knowledge of Knowledge Management practices.
  • Bachelor's degree is preferred.

Clearance Requirements:

Selected candidates will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility criteria for access to classified information; a Secret clearance is mandatory.

The compensation for this position is influenced by various factors, including location, education, skills, and experience. The estimated salary range for this role is $54,000.00 to $123,000.00 annually.
