As a seasoned Enterprise Client Sales Executive, you will be responsible for driving sales activities within existing named enterprise accounts for NetApp products and professional services. Your primary objective will be to develop and execute long-term strategies and shorter-term plans to meet aggressive revenue goals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prospecting and New Logo Acquisition: Demonstrate a hunter mentality with a proven track record of prospecting and new logo acquisition/growth skills, along with account management experience.
- Pipeline Development and Management: Develop, manage, and grow a pipeline of sales opportunities and a team of resources within an assigned territory to expand sales revenues.
- Strategic Account Planning: Build and execute strategic enterprise account plans, managing internal and external resources to achieve goals.
- Customer Success: Focus on customer success, including strong listening and advocacy skills, to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Partner Relationship Management: Nurture partner relationships, provide product expertise, and serve as a liaison to improve communication, collaboration, and accountability within opportunities, coordinating with additional support resources as needed.
- Co-Sell Opportunities: Enable partner sales and technical teams in line with partner compliance requirements and Go-to-Market strategy, in conjunction with NetApp Channel Development Manager.
- Partner Portfolio Management: Focus on maintaining a partner portfolio in the territory that will deliver maximum results: quality of partners over quantity of partners.
- NetApp Strategy and Messaging: Deliver NetApp strategy, vision, and messaging to partner sales and technical teams as needed.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Excellent Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, presentation skills, customer service, and negotiation skills.
- Field Technology Sales Experience: A history of field technology sales with a focus on new logo acquisition, business development, and enterprise account planning.
- Consistent Track Record: A consistent track record of exceeding quota and driving referenceable business.
- Hunting in White Space: Passion for hunting in white space to break into new areas and identify new opportunities in existing enterprise accounts.
- Storage and Cloud Infrastructure Knowledge: Plus - working knowledge of the storage and cloud infrastructure landscape.
- Channel Sales Landscape: Strong understanding of the channel sales landscape in a distributed environment.
- Storage and Cloud Technologies: Broad exposure to a variety of storage and cloud technologies/concepts.
- Self-Starter: Self-starter who is comfortable working independently and in a team environment with high integrity.
- Organizational Skills: Highly organized with the ability to work collaboratively with colleagues within departments and across functions.
A minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree preferred.
