Corporate Apparel Sales Executive

The Apparel Program Sales Executive at UniFirst plays a crucial role in driving new business opportunities within a designated region. This position is tasked with overseeing the complete sales cycle, which includes pinpointing potential clients, scheduling meetings with influential decision-makers, comprehending the needs of various stakeholders, and delivering tailored solutions that address the specific challenges faced by prospects.
- Achieve a target of generating at least $500,000 in new qualified annual Direct Sales revenue each fiscal year.
- Identify and engage with key decision-makers while navigating through intricate purchasing processes to ensure optimal positioning for success.
- Craft customized solutions for target clients, quantifying improvements and cost savings.
- Deliver impactful presentations to diverse audiences, including large committees and executive teams.
- Negotiate service specifications, pricing, and terms to foster long-term partnerships.
- Coordinate with internal teams to ensure that client expectations are not only met but exceeded.
- Utilize Sales Force Automation tools to effectively assess and prioritize opportunities based on contract timelines, market dynamics, and competitive advantages.
- Leverage networking platforms to connect with high-level decision-makers and spark interest early in the sales journey.
- Collaborate with the Market Research and Development team to enhance your prospect database and improve the quality of information.
- Continuously analyze market conditions, sales strategies, and purchasing trends to formulate effective counter-strategies and capitalize on market weaknesses.
- Maintain a precise sales funnel, forecast, and monthly activity reports.
- Meet or surpass established sales activity benchmarks.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in outside B2B sales.
- Proven experience in selling to large Regional Accounts and Corporate Programs, particularly to committees and C-level executives.
- Ability to operate independently while maintaining high productivity levels.
- Demonstrated success in sales, evidenced by awards and promotions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
- A Bachelor's degree is mandatory.
- Willingness to travel approximately 50% of the time.
